Douglas M. Kinney

Douglas M. Kinney is the founder and Chairman of the Board of Palmer Capital Corporation, which he started in 1974. In addition to his activities for Palmer, Doug is also the Chairman of the Board and a principal stockholder in Intermatic Incorporated.

Doug is a director of various other private corporations, and is the former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Tropical Botanical Garden (NTBG), a not-for-profit scientific research garden chartered by Congress and headquartered on the Island of Kauai.

Prior to forming Palmer, Doug worked at Lehman Brothers for seven years in its Chicago corporate finance department. Doug has a BA and an MBA from Harvard University where he was a Baker Scholar.
