Bridgewater State Hospital

In 2009, Bridgewater State Hospital solicited to have a ground-mounted solar project built on their land. Palmer affiliate, Solaya Energy LLC, took on the design and installation aspect of the development. The project followed the build-own-transfer model, in which the state made the land available to build a project and purchased the project once it was completed.

The project is comprised of 504 ground mounted solar panels. Now operational, this project provides 112kW of clean energy to Bridgewater State Hospital offsetting their internal electric consumption.
